Source testing is a key tool for effective measurement of emissions and in turn, your company’s environmental compliance. Direct measurements provide the basis for quantifying emissions to define the nature and extent of environmental effects. Source/stack measurements are used as the fundamental basis for evaluating compliance with a wide range of environmental regulations.

Today’s competitive business environment and stringent regulations demand high-level testing capabilities to ensure compliant, effective, and efficient operations. Bison Engineering is certified as an accredited air emissions testing body (AETB) to American Standards for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D7036-04, “Standard Practice for Competence of Air Emission Testing Bodies”. The certification is performed by American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), under the authority of the Source Evaluation Society (SES). All of Bison’s on-site project managers are Qualified Individuals (QI), or Qualified Source Testing Individuals (QSTI) under SES’s testing and monitoring program.
